*Actually, he’s almost everyones favorite gecko. When I was 6, my first pet was Murphy the leopard gecko. I still remember how the soft glow of his heat lamp cast shadows across my childhood room. He was kind, or as kind as a reptile can be. Following his premature death, my anguished sobs from the backseat inspired us to get a dog. His sacrifice stays with me.
